Reynolds House is a purpose built facility that provides first class security and network and power resilience.
The power to the facility is provided by 2 diverse feeds direct from the national grid with dual 2Mw standby diesel backup generators with enough fuel onsite to provide backup power for 7 days should the supply fail and with agreements in place for additional supplies of fuel beyond the 7 days.
Within the datacentre the power is backed up with UPS in n+1 mode which provides the power to sustain the load while the backup generators start up in the unlikely event of a failure of both power feeds.
Network connectivity is via multiple fibres at different entry points to the building providing further redundancy.
