What is Shell Fork Bomb Protection?

Shell Fork Bomb Protection allows you to prevent users who have access to a command line based client (SSH/Telnet) from consuming all of the servers resources and causing the server to crash!

Fork bomb's whether intentional or through accident cause your server to generate self replicating small processes that eventually consume all your servers resources. By enabling Shell Fork Bomb Protection you restrict the number and size of processes that clients can have.
