Enabling/Disabling Apache Spam Assassin

How do I enable or disable apache spam assassin?

All website hosting packages have an anti spam system.

This system has to be enabled to be used.

To enable it please log into cPanel and find Apache Spam Assassin within your Email section as shown below and click it.

anti spam

On the next page you can click to enable spam assassin as below

enable spam assassin

Once you have enabled spam assassin all emails deemed as spam will still come into your email inbox but will now be appended **SPAM**

This enables you to deal with them in your own way.

However you can now enable the spambox feature of Spam Assassin which will place all mail deemed as spam into a folder called spam in your mailbox.

Please note you must use IMAP or webmail to be able to view the spam folder.

To enable the spambox please click the button as below

spambox

And that is it!

Thanks
