How do I add an addon domain?

Or How do I host another separate domain within my cPanel?

Most website hosting plans allow you to host more than one website, within cPanel additional websites are called "Addon Domains"

To create an addon domain you first need to login to cPanel.

Once logged in if you scroll to the domains section and click on "Addon Domains" as shown below.

You will now see some further details to fill in, the first box as below asks for the new domain name.

Enter the domain name you want to add into your cPanel account as a separate website.

enter addon domain name

Once you have entered the domain name click into the "Subdomain" box as shown below and this will then fill in the "Subdomain" and "Document Root" automatically.

The information cPanel automatically fills in for you is ok to use.

Make a note of the "Document Root" as this is where you need to place the website files for your new addon domain.

When ready click "Add Domain" as shown.

And that's it you're done!
