How do I add a subdomain?

Adding a subdomain to your hosting in cPanel is very simple.

First login to cPanel and then navigate to the Domains section and click on Subdomains as shown below.

Once you have clicked on Subdomains you will be presented with "Create a Subdomain"

Fill in the Subdomain field with your chosen subdomain, in this example below we have entered mysubdomain but you can enter whatever your actual subdomain requirement is.

Next select the Domain you would like to apply the subdomain to.

And finally in the Document Root box cPanel will auto suggest a path for the subdomains website to start in, usually you can leave it as is but do make a note of the path so you know where to place your files for the subdomain later.

Create a subdomain

Once you are happy with your selections click "Create" as shown.

Create your subdomain

Now your subdomain will be added.

In this example we would have created mysubdomain.pactempz.zz

Please give it 30 seconds to a minute before you attempt to load the subdomain in your browser to give it time to activate.
